Imperial Milk Stout with Chicory and Coffee. Inspired by the New Orleans traditional coffee and chicory blend, Delta Hurricane is our own take on the coffee milk stout. The base stout recipe is built on flavors of roasted barley, coffee, and dark chocolate balanced by a light punch of American hops on top of a full bodied beer, thanks in part to the addition of lactose. This batch uses the Night Moves Blend from our friends at Passion House Coffee. To round everything out in the New Orleans tradition, we blended in pure chicory sourced from a New Orleans roaster for a subtle woody and nutty character. The resulting beer is part Chicago, part New Orleans, and all Horse Thief Hollow. 8.0% ABV
